MY SIMS

Hello there everybody. Welcome to my sweet and simple Sim page. No complex graphics, fancy text, CSS, ASP, JavaScript..... that's a bit too much. I think yuo can all enjoy what's on this page without any of that stuff (not that I couldn't do it.....) So Anyway if you are here it's probably cause someone directed you here since this isn't a site publicly acknowledging its existence. But that's OK, welcome one and all. First, let's start off with the people who live in this house shall we?

P.S. - Sorry about all the big graphics - I didn't feel like making thumbs.... I'm lazy so sue me :)

The Family

Greg Ghimbal

Greg is master of the house. This is the property he originally bought and finally found the will to build this mega house. Greg currently holds the position of Information Overlord with a salary of 1,550 Simoleons. Heavy stuff eh? Well getting the job was easy for him thanks to his headband. Given to him by his father, a crazy inventor, the headband actually worked and allows him to control computers and other mechanical things with his thoughts. Needless to say, this talent got him promoted quite quickly through the ranks.

Greg started building the house with the idea that he wanted it open like a hacienda sorta like yeah. With a pool in the center, cause that just looks cool. So he went through a variety of designs until he finally settled on the one you see here. In total the house probably cost over 100,000 Simoleons to build to it's current state. But with Greg's daily salary - pah!

After he had his house just about completed, he proposed to a girl and was shot down on the spot because she was hungry. Ah well. What can I say? There's women for you. (oooooooh. uh-oh, I think I'd better run...) So instead he asked his best buddy Roy if he could share the mega space and Roy agreed (Roy: After Greg fed me - of course).

Roy Yinsana

Roy Yinsana is a man of asian origin, but prefers not to talk about his past. He's taken on a variety of careers from Military to Law Enforcement. He dropped out of the Military because the wages sucked, and joind the police force. Using a Detective's salary he built up his own house to a respectable size (Greg: Yeah, about half the size of mine) and paid Greg many visits. He also attempted to court a few girls but they were all married and he was not about to go there. Huh-uh.

So when Greg asked him to share such a big house, he said sure after receiving a squeare meal to lighten his mood. Greg maintains that the reason Roy was being such a pain was because he finally realized what kind of work clothes he would have to wear when he became Captain Hero. Roy, after moving in, switched career tracks yet again to become a musician since he was jealous of Greg's salary and hated computers.

Roy moved quickly up the ranks thanks to his previous backgrounds and after a few days of rapid fire promotions achieved the level of Back-up Musician, which pulls down 550 Simoleons a day. Getting closer.....

The House

She's a big momma and we'll take you through her step by step, explaining a few things along the way. This house was a brainchild of mine (Greg: No, mine) for a while and finally finishing it feels good (Greg: speak for yourself, all you do is point and click!) since I never really drew anything out on paper. Still, it's been a huge project just because I have to build it, furnish it, light it, decorate it and landscape it *phew*. Not counting the upkeep. Thank god for the Maid and Gardener. As you'll see throughout the tour, I still have yet to really decorate the interior, I want to get the landscaping done first. But enough of me blabbering away like a blithering idiot *slaps hand over Greg's mouth*. Greg and Roy will both take you on a tour of their wonderful house. Enjoy!

The Tour

Hey there people! It's me, Greg Ghimbal, and welcome to the tour of my house. Don't expect anything special. The guy who set this all up is a lazy bum and takes bad pictures. But I'll do my best to account for his obvious flaws. I'd also like you to meet my best friend, Roy.

Hello!

We'll both be telling you stuff about this house. Since you'll probably want to keep looking at the picture as you read our comments (which can get rather long. Click on the Commentary link and a smaller window will pop up with our pretty faces. Lovely. Let's begin!

A Last Word (or two)

P.S. - Reading downwards starting on the left helps a lot - Roy

Well, that was fun.

I agree.

Now, I know you all are probably wondering how in the world we manage to live together. Just to let you know, everything we said and did was purely for you're enjoyment.

It was?

Um, yes.

Oh. Well, then - I'm sorry for calling you an obsessive freak of nature.

And, I'm sorry for calling you a dumb ass.

... ... ...

... ... ...

We should hug.

Um, no. I don't think so.

Yeah, I guess not...

Wait a min - when did you ever call me an obbsessive freak of nature??

Errr....

Well folks! It's been nice talkin to you! Gotta go!

Uh-oh.

Get back here Roy! We have a few bets to settle!!!!

Thank You for visiting my Sims Web Page. If you were offended in any way by the antics of my Sims... don't contact me. YOU can deal with them. Controlling their pathetic lives is more than enough for the likes of me. And as Roy's mother would say - "Thank you, come again!" I guess that cinches the nationality....
